Men’s Night
Thursday Night Men’s League is Back!!!!
I am very excited to get our ever-popular Men’s Night started for the 2020 season. Due to current restrictions, we will not use a shotgun start as we have in the past. We will utilize tee times starting at 4:00pm until all players have teed off. We may need to adjust the start time based upon number of players, but 4:00pm is our targeted start time. There is no season long commitment – You can play as few or as many weeks as you desire.
Night #1: June 11th
League Fees: $30 League Initiation – To fund shootout and end of season celebration
Nightly Fee: $5 – To pay out nightly individual/team winners
Optional Skins: $10 ($5 Gross/$5 Net)– The golf shop will run the skins game and all payouts will be in shop credit
Guests are welcome to play a maximum 3 times per season
Guest fees: $25 Greens Fee + $5 Nightly Fee (Cart/Skins Optional)
How it’s going to work:
This message is considered your invitation to play. Please email me at daniel.ruane@destinationhotels.com to sign up and initiate your league membership. In this email please indicate if you will or will not be playing week #1. After Week #1 you will receive an email invitation to play each week and you must respond to that to confirm you are coming. I will not assume that you are playing just because you played last week. Weekly signups will close on Wednesdays at 11:59 pm. In the invitation there will be a notes field for you to indicate if you prefer an early or late tee time. Loose interpretation of early would be prior to 5:00pm and late would be after 5:00pm. I will do my best to accommodate all requests. As in years past, we will be mixing it up and playing with different people each week. We have a lot of new members and this is a great way to meet new people and build relationships. I will post the tee times via email on Thursday by 12:00 pm.
Format:
The format will default to an individual quota point system, but we will mix in some fun team competitions along the way. A season long points race will determine the 10 players that get to compete in our end of season shootout. This is always a highlight of the summer and an excellent opportunity to heckle your golf buddies. League will run for 10 weeks of regular season play and the shootout will be August 27th. There will be no league on July 9th due to VT State Amateur Championship.
